You must have Facility Scheduler and Access ACS to be able to use Extend to display Facility Scheduler calendars on your website.

To display a Facility Scheduler calendar in Extend
  1. In Access ACS, navigate to Admin > Options > Web Links > Calendar.
  2. Select the Calendar link.
  3. In Extend, create a new article titled Calendar.
  4. Click the Source button in the option ribbon.
  5. Copy and paste the following code:

    <center><iframe style="WIDTH: 750px; HEIGHT: 550px" align=center src="CALENDAR_WEB_LINK_HERE" frameBorder=0></iframe></center>

I forgot my password. What can I do?

If you forgot your Facility Scheduler password, you can reset it from the log in window. (If you entered incorrect passwords five or more times, your account is locked. See Unlocking User Accounts.)

To reset your Facility Scheduler password
  1. Open Facility Scheduler.
  2. In the log in window, enter your user name.
  3. Click Forgot your password?

An e-mail with instructions for resetting your password is sent to the e-mail address associated with your user name. The e-mail includes a link for resetting your password. For security reasons, the link is only valid for 24 hours. After 24 hours, you must follow these instructions again to have a new reset e-mail sent to you.

You should receive the e-mail within 15 minutes. If you don't, check your spam/junk folder for the e-mail. If all else fails, contact one of your Facility Scheduler administrators to have them reset your password.

Access ACS Password

If your Facility Scheduler user account is linked to your Access ACS account, the password for both accounts is changed.

Are there a minimum or maximum number of characters that I should use for user names or passwords?

User names must be four or more characters.

Passwords must be between 6 and 15 characters long. They cannot contain any part of the user name, and cannot have consecutive letters, numbers, or other characters. We recommend that passwords include at least two letters and two numbers, and are at least eight characters long. Administrators may set additional password requirements for Facility Scheduler users.

Why does the System Date & Time have to be correct to access Facility Scheduler?

Because Facility Scheduler is written in a .NET format, there are some Microsoft components that are time dependent. It is important that your workstation time be accurate with the GMT (Greenwich Mean Time). When logging into Facility Scheduler, if your system time is inaccurate by four minutes, you will receive a Microsoft error and won't be able to log into Facility Scheduler.

 To change system time

The system is considerate for the time discrepancies, however the time needs to be within 4 minutes of the ACS Servers.

  1. Double-click the clock showing in the lower right corner of your monitor. The Date and Time Properties window displays.
  2. Edit the time so that it matches your time zone. What is my time zone?
  3. Click Apply > OK.
